OSRS Bossing Guide: Every Boss Ranked by Difficulty and Profit

Old School RuneScape has over 40 bosses to master. Whether you're a first-time PvMer or a veteran raider, knowing which boss suits your skill level and bank value is crucial.
## Beginner Bosses (No Death Cost)
### Giant Mole
Gear cost: 50K, Profit: 200K gp/hr, Difficulty: 1/10. Located under Falador, the Mole is the perfect introduction to bossing.
### Obor / Bryophyta
Gear cost: 100K, Profit: 300K gp/hr, Difficulty: 2/10. Hill Giant and Moss Giant bosses drop the Hill Giant Club and Bryophyta's Essence.
### Scurrius
Gear cost: 200K, Profit: 400K gp/hr, Difficulty: 2/10. The Rat King beneath Varrock sewers is excellent prayer XP and introduces basic mechanics.
## Intermediate Bosses
### Sarachnis
Gear cost: 2M, Profit: 500K gp/hr, Difficulty: 4/10. Great entry-level boss with the Cudgel drop.
### Barrows
Gear cost: 1M, Profit: 1M gp/hr, Difficulty: 3/10. Six brothers, potential for 43M bolt rack or Karil's crossbow.
### Crazy Archaeologist
Gear cost: 500K, Profit: 800K gp/hr, Difficulty: 3/10. Wilderness boss with a risk element but good profit.
## Advanced Bosses
### Vorkath
Gear cost: 50M+, Profit: 3M gp/hr, Difficulty: 6/10. The post-Quest Point Cape boss.
### Zulrah
Gear cost: 40M+, Profit: 2.5M gp/hr, Difficulty: 7/10. Rotation learning curve is steep, but once mastered, Zulrah prints money.
### Alchemical Hydra
Gear cost: 80M+, Profit: 3.5M gp/hr, Difficulty: 7/10. Konar's unique boss requires 95 Slayer. The Claw is worth 175M+.
## Expert Bosses
### Theatre of Blood (Hard Mode)
Gear cost: 300M+, Profit: 6M+ gp/hr, Difficulty: 9/10. The hardest raid. Requires a coordinated team and max gear.
### Inferno
Gear cost: 200M+, Profit: (Fire Cape resale), Difficulty: 10/10. 60+ waves of increasingly difficult monsters. The Infernal Cape is the ultimate flex.
## Progression Path
1. Start with Giant Mole to Barrows
2. Move to Sarachnis to Crazy Archaeologist
3. Attempt Vorkath to Zulrah
4. Try CoX or TOA entry modes
5. Graduate to TOB or Phosani's
